Emirates Golf Club Dubai - Greens Remodeling

Golf East are proud to have been chosen as the Golf specialist contractor for the complete reconstruction of all 18 Greens plus practice Greens at the world famous Majlis Golf Course, Emirates Golf Club Dubai.

The championship course with its signature clubhouse, remains the most eye-catching place in the region. It was designed by the Florida based architect Karl Litten, with the works completed in 1988 making it the first grassed course in the Middle East.

It is the host of the European Tour Omega Dubai Desert Classic and Omega Dubai Ladies Masters and has been presented with numerous accolades over its history.

The new works we are undertaking are not to be confused with a restoration as all the Greens will be completely reconstructed using the latest USGA specifications and materials. This complete reconstruction allows for the Greens to be rebuilt to their original size and shaped to meet the Clubs original and improved design contours.

The month of January only means one thing within the middle east. The Dubai Desert Classic.

As you know we completed the remodel and reconstruction of the Majlis golf course’s greens this year, making them 30% larger. This is able to allow the tournament to have a greater number of pin locations, making the course a new challenge and also aid with all year-round traffic on the No.1 course in Dubai.
